About the role:

Our Village Services team has a great opportunity for a House Keeper (internally known as a Domestic Aide) to join the team in maintaining the cleanliness of our residents Serviced Apartments in our resident focused Greenwich Garden Village. It is one of our largest Villages and with that comes a great level of care and maintenance in ensuring our residents, visitors and staff come to a clean, welcoming environment.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

• Cleaning individual units to a high standard for our residents
• Supporting with cleaning of communal areas
• Working and interacting with residents and other staff
• Maintaining health and safety standards

About you:

We are looking House Keepers with customer service, good communication and great attitudes! We can teach you and develop you towards a career in the right direction whether in the Care Home, Villages or with the Support Office. This is where you can get you foot in the door.

Some things that will support your application include:

• Previous cleaning/laundry experience would be beneficial, particularly in a commercial environment
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn will give you a great base
• You will be able to work unsupervised as well as being a supportive member of the team.
• You will appreciate that you must have empathy for the older person, as well as excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear and considerate fashion.
