We are currently seeking two motivated and enthusiastic cleaners to join our property team. Previous experience in commercial cleaning and ideally have worked previously in a school would be an advantage, however a motivated and passionate attitude with a team focus is ideal.
Freyberg High School is a co-educational state secondary school, Years 9-13, located in Palmerston North with a roll of approx. 1100 students.
Please Note: In accordance with the Education & Training Act 2020 and the Children’s Act 2014, and as such the appointment will be subject to satisfactory police vetting check. Full New Zealand residency is required for this position.
This is a permanent position for 3–5 hours per day, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 3pm, term-time only. Pay rate and terms and conditions of employment will be those set out in the School Caretakers’, Cleaners’, Canteen and Ground Staff Collective Agreement.
