Cleaning Technicians – Queenstown Full-Time

We are a local privately owned company and have been operating since August 2000 in Queenstown.

We are seeking Cleaning Technicians to join our team. The job will guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week and competitive pay as well as benefits such as health insurance. Pay rate between $26-$30 per hour depending on the applicants skills and experience. Working hours will be on a varied roster, including weekends and evenings will be required. Flexible working options available

The job will involve providing a professional cleaning service to our clients with a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, whilst maintaining strong positive relationships with other team members. If successful, the candidate would be responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Cleaning various commercial and residential properties as instructed by the Supervisor in accordance with our company’s cleaning procedure manual, and the job/work specifications provided for each area in a timely and appropriate manner. This includes but is not limited to:
• Vacuuming carpets, hard floors and upholstered furniture o Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings o Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying containers, bins and trays o Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures o Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas
• Working in a team to complete the cleaning within the specified timeframe and to the correct procedure.
• Attending Training Sessions as instructed.
• Ensuring that all cleaning agents, materials, and equipment are used as per instruction given in training (i.e., using the correct products).
• Reporting damage or breakages to office as soon as possible to enable the client to be informed.
• Working in a manner that does not cause hazards or risks to the individual or their colleagues, as per health and safety instructions. All issues must be reported to the Supervisor.
• Complying with all health and safety policies and procedures.
