Is cleaning something you can see yourself doing for work? Read on! A local Queenstown employer is looking for a Cleaner to join their team. Duties for the position include using a range of cleaning services.

We are a local privately owned company and have been operating since 2017 in Queenstown.

We are seeking Cleaners to join our team. The job will guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Pay rate between $25 – $27 per hour dependant on the applicants skills and experience.

Working hours will be on a varied roster, early mornings including weekends and evenings will be required.

Description of the position:

Job will involve providing a professional cleaning service to our clients with a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness whilst maintaining strong positive relationships with other team members. If successful, the candidate would be responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Clean various commercial and residential properties as instructed by supervisor in accordance with our company’s standards, and the job/work specifications provided for each area in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Must Drive, cleaners can be required to work alone or in teams.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Vacuuming carpets, hard floors and upholstered furniture.
• Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying containers, bins and trays.
• Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures.
• Operating industrial vacuum cleaners  to clean floors, work areas.
• Removing dust and dirty from ceiling, walls and fixtures.
• Applying cleaning solutions to surfaces to remove stains and dirt.
• Work in a team to compete the cleaning within the specified timeframe and to the correct procedure.
• Attend training sessions as instructed.
• Ensure that all cleaning agents, materials, and equipment are used as per instruction given in training (i.e., using the correct products)
• Reporting damage or breakages to office as soon as possible to enable the client to be informed.
• To work in a manner that does not cause hazards or risks to the individual or their colleagues, as per health and safety instructions. All issues must be reported to the supervisor.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
