Cleaner – Glendowie Full Time

St Andrew’s Village is a 139-bed aged residential care facility. We are quality and customer driven. We currently have a vacancy in our cleaning team. This exciting role would suit someone with a cleaning background. Housekeeping or cleaning experience will be highly regarded, however if you have the passion to learn and enjoy being part of a great fun team, we will happily provide the training for you to succeed.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Cleaning Team Manager, you will be responsible for following a roster for a selection of cleaning duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time as rostered for cleaning services
• Ensure your equipment is functional and used in the correct manner.
• Be aware of resident’s personal belongings and furniture so as not to cause damage.
• Report any issues or damage you notice to the management.
• Strong attention to detail at all levels of the room and be able to work unsupervised.
• Maintain and recognize high levels of hygiene and sanitation

The ideal Candidate:

• An energetic and passionate person who enjoys engaging with people
• Extremely honest with a high attention to detail
• High standards of personal grooming
• Have excellent communication skills, particularly with older residents
• Fit and healthy and able to carry cleaning equipment
• Able to work on a rotational roster that covers week days and weekends
• Hold a full, clean driver’s license
