Cleaning Supervisor Full-Time

Bright Clean is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor in Wanaka! This is a full-time, permanent role (30–40 hours/week). Pay rate: $27–$28/hr, based on experience. Lead a small team, ensure high cleaning standards, and help us deliver exceptional service across commercial sites. As a Cleaning Supervisor at Bright Clean, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across all client sites. Your focus will always be on client satisfaction, leading by example, and maintaining a professional, friendly approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise team of commercial cleaners across various sites.
• Coach, induct, and provide ongoing training for new and existing staff members.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with Bright Clean’s standards, client requirements, and relevant job specifications.
• Conduct regular site audits and quality assurance checks with detailed reports.
• Perform weekly stocktakes and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are in good condition.
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure all shifts are covered, and be available to fill in when needed.
• Guide staff to understand client needs and how to professionally handle complaints or difficult situations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, or feedback.
• Assist in preparing staff rosters and allocating duties effectively.
• Meet with potential clients to assess cleaning needs and help shape service plans.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong time management, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety, safe chemical use, and workplace compliance.
• A commitment to high-quality service and a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude with a friendly, team-focused approach.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling tasks.
