Commercial Cleaner – Christchurch City Part Time

We are looking for a motivated, flexible, hard working individual with a high attention to detail to join medium centrally located team.

We are a private landlord offering 150+ apartments, bedsits and houses for rent in the inner city.

We require a part time cleaner to service the communal areas of our shared accommodations three times per week. You will be responsible of ensuring all our communal areas are spotless. Approximate hours are 20- 30 per week. These hours are worked Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm. This can be changed around to suit our new cleaner. There is an opportunity for more hours when tenants vacate and apartments need cleaning. You will require your own vehicle for this job so petrol allowance will be given. All jobs located inside the 4 avenues.

To be successful in the role we are looking for the following:

• A fantastic eye for detail – if you are a clean fanatic, this job is right for you!
• Able to manage your time effectively to get the jobs done on time.
• Self motivating. You will report to our office daily but travel offsite to various job locations throughout the week.
• Ability to report to the property manager any items which need attention.
• Able to manage/order cleaning products when required.
• Friendly to our tenants – you will get to know some of our tenants and be a familiar face for them.
• A positive, can – do attitude – we will often have extra duties such as end of tenancy cleans, and room cleans which will be called in sporadically. Experience. We require someone with experience both in handling cleaning chemicals and with prior cleaning experience.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Extremely reliable and great with communication.
• Willing to hold the position long term permanently.
