Facilities Cleaner – Selwyn Full-Time

CORDE is a new brand with a team of over 330 people working in the maintenance, civil, and three waters industry. The company has several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island, with more opportunities to grow. It has a strong pipeline of work in both regional Canterbury and Christchurch City.

What’s the role? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Cleaner to come and join our Parks and Reserves team based in Rolleston. This is a full time role working Wednesday to Sunday including public holidays. You will be responsible for maintaining Council facilities by ensuring toilets are in a hygienic condition, emptying rubbish bins, and cleaning the interior and exterior of facilities.

CORDE’s maintenance contract covers the entire Selwyn District, a truly spectacular and beautiful area to work in. You will be required to drive to various locations around the district during the course of the day so it is important that you are comfortable driving long distances if needed.

You will bring the following:

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
• Relevant cleaning experience (essential)
• Ability to work weekends (essential)
• Physically fit and self-motivated
• Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
• Able to work as part of a team and to deadlines
