Flood Restoration Technician – Wellington Central Full Time

We are looking for an experienced flood restoration and carpet cleaning technician to join our team based in Newtown, Wellington.  This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum number of 32 hours each week.

A job description for this role includes the following:

• Flood restoration
• Carpet cleaning
• Upholstery cleaning
• Rug cleaning including experience with Persian rugs
• Stain treatments
• Carpet relays.

The successful candidate will need to have at least 3 years work experience. In addition, the successful candidate will need to a current Water Restoration Technician qualification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification and a relevant industry qualification for rug cleaning.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Hold a clean, full New Zealand driver’s license
• Have a clean Ministry of Justice record
• A great attitude where you are keen to learn and willing to get stuck in
• Tidy personal presentation
• Enjoy work well within a team
• Have great communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Be an honest, reliable and trustworthy individual
• An ability to use technology such as emails and smart phone applications
• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand
• Be prepared to go on call on a rotational basis.

• Competitive market wage where the range of hour rate from $31.00 – $35.00 depending on experience.  Any overtime is paid at time and half (for all after hours work or any hours exceeding 40 hours per week)
