Housekeeper / Laundry Person – St Clair Casual Contract Part Time

The Home of St Barnabas Trust is a well established provider of residential rest home care and a community meals on wheels service within the wider Dunedin area. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper/Laundry person to join our supportive team working in our 41 bed rest home. Hours to be discussed.

We require someone who has:

• Excellent standard in housekeeping/laundry and pride in their work.
• A knowledge and experience of cleaning and laundry product would be helpful
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and be flexible
• Availability to work weekends doing Laundry/Clean as required
• Understanding of consistency and good time management in duties
• Empathy and commitment in the care to the elderly.
• A positive “can do” attitude with a solution focus within our team environment
• A good in-house orientation and training is received.
