Laundry Assistant – East Tamaki Full Time

We are seeking the services of a hands on Laundry Assistant in the folding area in our busy commercial laundry which is located in the East Tamaki / Highbrook area.

The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure that our customers receive the best Kiwi service on offer. This role requires a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to work within a diverse team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to work within a small and dedicated team
• The ability to schedule and manage the flow of laundry through our busy plant
• Excellent attention to detail
• A professional work ethic

Experience is preferred but not essential. Above all else, applicants must possess a hands-on approach, not be afraid of physical work, possess a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach.

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application.

The successful applicant must:

• Have a clean full Class 1 NZ driver’s license
• Capable of driving automatic and manual vans
• Physically fit
• Take pride in your appearance
• Good command of the English language
• Legible handwriting
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Proven reliability, self-motivated and a great work ethic.
• Flexible attitude as additional hours will be required during busy times.
