Multi-Skilled Worker – Takapuna Contract Full Time

My client is a large healthcare organisation based in Takapuna on Auckland’s North Shore. They are on the hunt for a motivated and positive Multi-Skilled Worker. This position is multi-faceted and includes orderly duties, cleaning duties and driving duties.

You will be working within a rehabilitation clinic for children, supporting the tamariki and their whanau during their stay at the facility. You will be personable and must enjoy working with and interacting with people. You will be empathetic and hold privacy in the highest regard!

This role operates on a 7-day roster with shifts either 7:30am – 4pm or 8am – 4:30pm, so you will need the flexibility to work on weekends as well as week days. This is a full time position.

A bit about the role…

• Management of linen and rubbish (including recycling)
• Cleaning internal and external areas as well as parent accommodations
• General maintenance of furniture, pool and outside furniture as directed
• Meal delivery
• Assisting with transiting of children, equipment etc
• Driving as required including transport of families for appointments, and courier-like tasks
• Keeping the vehicle in good condition, clean and tidy and checking oil and water

The successful applicant…

• Full clean drivers license, and comfortable driving a disability van
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment police vetting check
• Some commercial cleaning experience
• Self-motivated and showing initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, and take pride in your work
