Public Cleaner – Rotoroa Full Time

About the role:

This role is within our Janitorial department and will be responsible for the day to day cleaning activities for the Rotorua District. Tasks includes:

• Cleaning and sweeping includes all paved surfaces, as well as litter removal from all gardens and grassed areas within each facility
• Damage reporting
• Emptying rubbish bins and replace bin liners
• Keep all surfaces in their ‘as new’ state, free of grime, dust litter, stains, chewing gum, bird droppings, glass, weeds, moss, graffiti, leaves etc.

About you:

• Clean Full Class 1 licence (Manual Vehicle)
• Must have sound basic mathematics skills
• Proven capability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
• Understanding and commitment to hazard identification and risk assessment
• Be physically fit
• Positive, punctual and reliable

Desirable Attributes:
