About the Role
The purpose of the position is to effectively and efficiently deliver a variety of services with a particular emphasis on water blasting to a high standard and deliver to all customer expectations. Work is performed under supervision or guidance either individually or within a team environment and would involve the exercise of some judgement.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Assisting with all aspects of exterior building and hard surfaces washing and water blasting Scope and plan work prior to commencement Meet service delivery requirements and expectations Ensure tools are maintained to the appropriate mechanical and presentation standards, and stored in a safe and secure manner Comply with all UMS Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures Assist with a partnership approach between UMS, the customer, and the community
About you
Relevant water blasting experience and skills in the safe and effective use and maintenance of tools and equipment required Strong health and safety attitude Strong customer service and relationship orientation Effective communication and self-awareness Strong focus on detail and accuracy Willingness to assist others where and when required Well organized and highly capable of multi-tasking Ability and willingness to interpret and follow instructions and meet the required standards Working cooperatively in a team and autonomously
Applicants for this position should have a current clean full NZ Drivers licence, NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and willing to undergo and pass our pre-employment medical, drugs and alcohol and criminal check.
