Waterblasting & Cleaning Technician Full Time NEW

With an established waterblasting business already in place, we are now in growth mode and looking to reduce lead times for customers. We are needing a dedicated, reliable and friendly Waterblasting Cleaning Technician who can services clients in the Tauranga area. We are looking to hire individuals that have pride in their work, are dedicated, and are looking for a long-term career.

What you will be doing:

• Building and house soft washing
• Roof washing and treatment
• Work on residential homes and commercial buildings
• Waterblasting for moss and mould treatments of driveways, paths, fences and gutters

This is a Monday to Friday opportunity but may include some weekend work in the busy period. We do believe in work life balance!

What we are looking for is someone with the following qualifications, experience and attitude:

• Understanding the importance of providing great customer service and experience
• Holds a full clean current NZ Drivers Licence
• Has a clean and tidy appearance
• Is able to work well in a team and also autonomously unsupervised
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty and get stuck in to the job at hand
• Site Safe and Heights certification is an advantage, but not essential – for the right person we will support you with these qualifications
• Experience in the industry is a plus
• Reliable, honest and self-motivated
• A willingness to work outside all year round (when safe to do so)
• Comfortable sometimes working at heights

Work Environment:
Tools, equipment, machinery used: Large industrial cleaning equipment and materials, industrial vehicles, and basic computer systems.

Working conditions:
Normal work environment (on-site and off -site locations), outside work, extreme temperatures, flexible schedules, on- call hours, may require some weekend work.

Physical effort required:
Some heavy lifting, working with equipment, confined spaces, and heights.

Travel required:
Driving will be required for this position.

Work hours and Pay Minimum work hours per week is 40 hours and maximum at 50 hours.

Rate of pay is $25-30 per hour.

Training Full training will be given to the successful applicant as well as external training and all the gear required for this role. Once fully trained, you will be in charge of your truck and equipment to attend and run jobs on your own. We go out of our way to make sure staff are completely comfortable, happy and encouraged to want to progress and succeed in the business.
